Function/Purpose:

This will include all aspects of construction, zoning, code enforcement and planning.  Identify which function is best to "keep in house" and those better contracted out to the county if any.  Investigate the costs of providing review, processing, issuance, and inspections of building permits.  Determine the costs of providing the oversight of all inquiries pertaining to zoning, property plat, and zoning information.  Provide a cost analysis of code enforcement and the most efficient, resident friendly method for compliance.  Establish a comprehensive plan for the village and how best to facilitate usage.  Determine the variance request process, site plan reviews, and permit issuance.
