Function/Purpose:
Identify the public safety services (police, fire and fire rescue) which will be provided by both the village and the county.  Investigate the requirements for the county mandated Miami Dade Police Dept. 3 yr. contract and the cost of those services provided.  Analyze the minimum size of the police force required from the MDPD vs. The Falls requirements.  Assess the cost of services for the Falls Shopping Center and warehouse/commercial district.  Identify the special police services remaining with the county and analyze the county figures for accuracy.  Provide input to the budget committee.
