Function/Purpose:
The Steering Committee is comprised of the 3 project managers and the chair of each committee.  There are 9 committees including: Public Safety, Commercial and Business, Long Term Planning, Finance and Budget, Parks and Recreation, Community Awareness, Charter, Building and Planning, Public Works/Storm Sewer.  The steering committee members will oversee the overall effort, to ensure that the committees have the resources and guidance to enable them to perform their function.  The steering committee will also compile the findings and recommendations of all committees, plan for public meetings and present findings to the public.
